How the
Night Runs
Nothing here is decoration. Every one of these is a decision somebody on this scene made forty years ago and got right.
- Original vinyl 45s. No laptops on the decks.
- A wooden floor or no floor at all.
- Records first, personalities second.
- Doors at seven for the Record Bar, music at eight.
- Talcum powder is allowed. Ask the venue first.
- Nobody gets turned away for not knowing the records.

| 12:00 AM | Closing set. |
| 2:00 AM | Close. Three before eight, and everybody knows what they are. |

Dealers
Wanted
Record dealing was part of the British all-nighter from the start. Collectors bought, sold, traded and argued alongside the dancing. That comes back.
Four to six selected dealers before each night. Northern Soul, Detroit, rare soul, R&B, Motown and modern soul 45s. Tables are free during the launch phase. This is an audience investment, not a profit centre.
Before you write
Bring 45s, not LPs. Bring stock the room will chase. We will settle insurance and sales tax treatment in writing before the first table goes out. If you deal in the region and you are reading this, you are the person we want.
